|Recommended: YesNice apartment close to campus for a good price — I have lived here for three years because of how much I liked the building. It is close to campus for a great price. The apartments are very cute and spacious, and I liked the aspect of having a balcony.

|Recommended: YesI love it because it is home, but there are some quirks — Some maintenance things are an issue, like our tub is split open and they said they came in to fix it but its not fixed. The oven is small and there are just dials on it so never know when its preheated or if it accidentally got bumped into to turn on almost burned down the place because that happened lol . We have a dishwasher and balcony though and that is pretty awesome. Just a little homey spot even though there are some small issues, but far better than the horror stories of some places downtown.

|Recommended: YesIts very good compared to the competition. — wifi is very weak Only able to get 50 Mbps with WIRED not WIRELESS. wireless varies between 5-15 mbps. regarding noise, the closer you are to the room windows or the hallway door, the easier you can hear literally everyone. You can easily hear people in the hallway, people in the balcony, people playing music nearby or across the street and people walking in the street. Maintenance staff is very good. They have the ability to fix every problem. the only reason i gave them 2 5 is because our microwave has NOT been fixed. its been a week. Microwave broke within a week of us moving in. The original fix only lasted 2 days. Were told we were gonna need a new microwave. No clue when its going to be fixed or if its going to be fixed. Overall, its very good place.

I show the work order for the microwave issue was placed on 9/23. I show your microwave was replaced on 9/26. Please let us know if your new microwave is having issues as a 3 day turn around for issue and fix is not a huge amount of time that was used to correct the issue. All our buildings were wired this summer for Dojo internet, if you are having problems please contact them at 814.308.0817 to see what they can do for you.

Thank you for your review. Parking in Downtown State College is always at a premium and goes very quickly. We do first come first serve to help as many as we can with the number of spots we have to offer. We do have some Spring 2020 spots available at this time if you want to purchase one if you missed out on the Fall 2019 spots.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live without a heavy price tag — I stayed at the Palmerton for 2 years and really enjoyed my time here Maintenance was great and the apartment store really cares about it's residents.

|Recommended: YesGood for the price — You can't beat the rent price but considering the noise and the amount of profanity in the downtown State College, if you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend. Otherwise, big money saver The online portal is much better than most other apartments as well.

|Recommended: YesGood but Not Great — It's a great location downtown, and if you can manage to find 4 other friends that you get along with, it's a great housing option. The fact that everything is included into the monthly rate is awesome, especially when there's 5 of us. Unfortunately the lobby area elevator hallways could use a more regular cleaning, especially during weekends as the lobby is covered in trash and mud from the outside street. The cleaning lady does a great job when she's there, but her work is often polluted within 2 days due to the large foot traffic in and out of the building.

|Recommended: YesHidden jem in state college — The palmerton is really really nice. Brand new hard wood floors, cute balcony, fun neighbors, and super spacious. Most people want to live in the graduate or legacy or beaver hill... but no one really knows about the palmerton and it's nicer, cleaner and less expensive AND a great location I really recommend. Always feel safe too. Only thing-- they don't take out the 5th person's furniture if you only live with 4 people so the extra bed, desk and dresser is kinda annoying.

We always communicate with interested residents and incoming residents that the apartments are always furnished to the max for the max amount of people that could potentially live in the apartments prior to you signing up and it is also stated in the lease. Most find a way to maximize the extra bed for visitors or extra storage space. Overall I am glad your experience with us was positive!
